Geyje Norling School

The Geyje Norling School is a Monastery Buddhism Educational Institution as part of the Monastery.The School is located in Arunashal Pradesh, on the india outskirts of the Himalayan. For about 150 years now this remotely located  Monastery is hosting about 40 tibetan monks now.

The school teaches tibetan Mahayan buddhism sutra and tantra.

Lately the Monastery has joined the YASW Youth action for social welfare, regional society in the Buddha Education and Culture Foundation to participate in the elementary education of local children and junior monks, age 5 to 18 years).

It is our goal to bring teachings to a larger community of monks, subsequently to enlagen the school in order to host up to 300 students. To teach Buddhism to our friends and their communities around the world and to be able for them to visit us and learn with us.
